Our Approach
bodegafind is built on a simple principle: no invented data, no hidden information. Every bodega listing is sourced from verified providers like Google Reviews. When information is unavailable, we show it honestly as "Not provided" rather than guessing or filling in defaults.
Why Source-Backed Data Matters
Wine tourism in Andalucía has real problems: locked doors despite posted hours, undisclosed group minimums, and inconsistent service quality. Traditional directories don't solve this because they rely on self-reported information from bodegas themselves—information that may be outdated, incomplete, or inaccurate.
bodegafind takes a different approach: we aggregate ratings and reviews from real travelers on Google Reviews, then link directly to the source so you can verify every claim yourself.
What You'll Find
Bodega Name & Location
The official name, region (Jerez, Málaga, Ronda, etc.), and municipality where the bodega is located.
Google Reviews Rating
Average rating on a 0–5 scale, plus the total number of reviews. This reflects real traveler experiences, not marketing claims.
Direct Source Link
Click "View source" to see the original Google Reviews listing. Verify ratings, read individual reviews, and check the bodega's website and contact information yourself.
Retrieval Date
We show when each listing was last retrieved. This helps you understand how current the information is.
How to Use bodegafind
-
Filter by Region or Municipality: Use the dropdown filters at the top of the directory to narrow results to your travel area (Jerez, Málaga, Ronda, etc.) or specific town.
-
Review Ratings & Reviews: Each card shows the Google Reviews rating and review count. Higher ratings and more reviews generally indicate consistent quality and service.
-
Verify the Source: Click "View source" to see the original Google Reviews listing. Read recent reviews to understand what travelers actually experienced: guide quality, wine value, food pairings, and service consistency.
-
Check Hours & Contact: On the Google Reviews page, you'll find verified hours, phone number, website, and WhatsApp contact. Call or message directly to confirm group policies, tour duration, and pricing before visiting.
-
Make Your Decision: Use the combination of rating, review count, and individual traveler feedback to choose the bodega that matches your group size, budget, and experience level.
What We Don't Show (And Why)
bodegafind intentionally does NOT include:
- Invented Hours or Policies: We don't guess at opening hours or group minimums. These must come directly from the bodega via Google Reviews or their official website.
- Self-Reported Quality Scores: We don't create our own "guide quality" or "wine value" ratings. Instead, we link to real traveler reviews where you can read specific feedback.
- Booking or Calendar Systems: bodegafind is a directory, not a booking platform. We link to the bodega's contact information so you can reach them directly.
- Paid Listings or Sponsored Placements: All bodegas are listed equally. We don't charge for placement or priority ranking.
Data Freshness
bodegafind listings are refreshed periodically from Google Reviews. The "Retrieved" date on each card shows when we last pulled that data. If you notice outdated information, click "View source" to see the current Google Reviews listing, which is always up-to-date.
Your Role as a Traveler
bodegafind gives you the tools to make confident decisions, but the final verification is yours. Before booking:
- Read multiple Google Reviews, especially recent ones.
- Call or WhatsApp the bodega directly to confirm hours, group policies, and pricing.
- Ask specific questions about guide experience, wine selection, and food pairings.
- Check their official website for current information.
No more wasted trips. No more hidden minimums. Just transparent information and direct contact with real bodegas.
